Title: The Bad Boy’s Goodness by Sara Daniel
Bad Boys of Regret Hollow Series Book Three
Publisher: Self Published
Genre: Contemporary, Romance
Length: Novella
Summary:
He’ll do whatever it takes to save her from himself.
Just once, straight-laced teacher Bethany Wilkerson wants to make love with a man who’s not a dud in bed. When she finally meets the perfect man, he turns her down. Humiliated, she studiously avoids him for months…until she’s stranded at his house during an ice storm.
Ken Hawkins might have cleaned up on the outside, but on the inside he’s still a bad boy from the ghetto who will never be good enough for Bethany. Keeping his distance is a lot easier when she’s not parading through his house wearing nothing but his sweatshirt. No matter how hard he tries to reform, he’s not a saint.
The more Ken tries to convince her of his rotten core, the more Bethany believes in his innate goodness. But until she can convince him to believe in himself, he will continue to push her out of his life.
WARNING: Contains naughty words Grandma wouldn’t approve of, smoking hot love scenes Grandma can’t get enough of, all the quirks of small-town life, and a swoon-worthy, no-cliffhangers-no-regrets romance.

Excerpt
“Good thing I can cook.”
Surprise and pleasure lit up her face. “You can? Let me get the laundry started, and I’ll help you.”
“Sounds like a plan,” he choked out, fisting his hands at his sides to avoid hauling her to him for a branding kiss. With a flight or two of stairs separating them, he might have a prayer of resisting her.
After she turned away and her footsteps faded down the stairs, he stripped out of his business casual clothes into the cruddiest sweats and T-shirt he owned. If she saw him dressed like someone she’d cross the street to avoid, maybe she’d treat him the same way and he’d remember to keep his distance.
A few minutes later, he stood in the kitchen pulling chicken breasts from the refrigerator. Her footsteps marched up the stairs from the laundry room. Stay cool. Stay calm. Stay far away from temptation.
“Ken.”
Closing the fridge, he straightened and faced her. His sweatshirt hung down her shoulders, ridiculously long and baggy as he’d hoped, but then stopped far too high on her smooth, pale thighs. Why the hell hadn’t he offered her some pants? “What?” he snarled.
She stepped back, her smile faltering. Yes damn it, she should be scared of him. Her mother had been right to warn her away. “Do you have any laundry you want me to add to the load?”
“No!” She’d been in his house for all of five minutes. She was supposed to be his guest, not his live-in partner.
“The clothes you were wearing earlier need to be washed, right?”
“I’ll do it another time.” When she wasn’t standing in front of him, turning his boring sweatshirt into an X-rated fantasy, leaving him begging to trail his lips down her bare legs.
“It’s no trouble. My load is so small, running it as is doesn’t seem worth it.” Ignoring his answer, she headed up the stairs.
Ken reached into the freezer and pulled out a handful of ice. Rubbing it around his neck, he hoped the chill would creep south in a hurry. Maybe he should lie down in the road for an hour or two. His body heat would melt the ice all the way to Wisconsin.
She had no freaking idea what she did to him. Meanwhile, his sweatpants clearly displayed the evidence. She wouldn’t remain blind to it if he didn’t get the rest of his body to follow his brain’s blaring reminder that she was pure, innocent, and completely off-limits.
