A Thankful Thanksgiving: Sweet Harlequin Romances PRINT Giveaway

As the United States celebrates Thanksgiving, Harlequin authors Marta Perry, Jo Ann Brown, Cathy Gillen Thacker and Allison Leigh share who and what they are thankful for in honor of Thanksgiving.

Marta Perry: This year our family will gather around the Thanksgiving table with kids, grandkids, and friends at our vacation home on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. We’ll bow in thankfulness that despite the ravages of the storm, despite the fact that several of them had to evacuate their homes as Hurricane Matthew approached, we all came through safely and for most only minor damage. And we’ll be well aware that others were not as fortunate as we were, so we’ll remember them with our prayers and gifts.

Jo Ann Brown: I’m thankful for friends and family — trite but true. Both my friends and my family have supported my writing career from the beginning, and I love seeing my children following their dreams, too.

Cathy Gillen Thacker: Friends and family. The community and country where I live. Good health—never something to take for granted. I also like that Thanksgiving is the advent of the holiday season.

This book ends at Christmas, and that symbolizes hope, joy, and faith.

Allison Leigh: Thanksgiving has long been my favorite holiday—it has all that wonderful food and family and friends and hopefully none of the frenetic quality and stress that often surrounds Christmas. (Don’t get me wrong; I love Christmas, too.) What I’m thankful for this Thanksgiving is what I’m thankful for every day of the year—my faith, my husband, daughters and grandson. My parents. Good friends and fulfilling work that I truly love.
