This month’s reading is to read a book that is set in Alaska or Canada.
I lived in Alaska for six years so I’m always absolutely delighted to run across novels which are set somewhere in the state. And the reason I decided to throw in Canada is because my best friend and I are about to set off on our annual girl’s trip and we’re headed to Canada for part of our vacation.
My first selection is The Simple Wild by K.A. Tucker, and it is a departure from her usual novels. I’ve read and really enjoyed her mysteries, so I’m a bit apprehensive about the change in genre. However based on reviews, I don’t think I have anything to worry about!

My next choice is Arctic Sun by Annabeth Albert. I have loved her previous novels so I am very eager to read all of the books in the Frozen Hearts series. I am especially eager to read this first book because I love ex-military men who have fought to hell and back to recover from their wartime experiences.

So are you going to find a novel that whisks you off to Alaska or somewhere in Canada? We’ll check back in next month and see if you met your challenge and whether or not you enjoyed your selection! (And I’ll also have a separate post with a few pictures of Waterton, Banff and Jasper National Parks)
Happy Reading!
If you participated in last month’s challenge, check out the discussion post HERE and let us know if you met your challenge!
The only one I can find at the moment is Whiskey Christmas, a novella in Cate Ashwoods Sawyer’s Ferry series set in Alaska.
I’m sure I have a book set in Canada as well on my tbr so will try and find that in the month!!!
Oooohh, I’ll have to check out the series!
I haven’t started it yet (Kindle kind of loaded up…), but Beth Carpenter is always a good read. This month’s offering is SWEET HOME ALASKA.
