December Reading Challenge: A Reporter

December’s Reading Challenge is to read a novel featuring a reporter (can be newspaper or TV).

The first novel I have selected is Heartsick by Chelsea Cain. I am sure it comes as no surprise that this novel is a mystery 😀 . It is also the first installment in the Archie Sheridan & Gretchen Lowell series. I am intrigued by the fact that Archie Sheridan is a detective who is obsessed with getting prisoner Gretchen Lowell to tell him the whereabouts of her victims. Newspaper reporter Susan Ward creates problems when she begins profiling Archie and his current investigation. I am very much looking forward to reading this mystery!

My next selection is Tight Quarters by Annabeth Albert. I cannot wait to see how Petty Officer Bacon, a Navy SEAL who has been temporarily sidelined by an injury, deals with his latest assignment. To his dismay he will keeping an eye on Award-winning journalist Spencer Bryant. Promises to be an interesting read!

How do you feel about reading books which feature journalists or reporters?

Happy Reading!!
