April’s Reading Challenge is to read a novel that sweeps you away on vacation!
I don’t know about anyone else, but after a year of Covid, I could use a vacation. But I’m still not doing any traveling since the pandemic continues to march on. The weather is warming up here and I am sooo ready to hit the road! So, I decided that a book vacation would be the perfect challenge for this month.
It should come as no surprise that my selection is set in Australia (I am still mourning the cancellation of last year’s trip!). I am going to read Snowy Mountains Daughter by Alissa Callen. The novel is set in Bundilla, New South Wales. This second chance at love romance takes place near the Snowy Mountains and features a peony farmer, a street artist and a family secret. I can’t wait to see if Clancy Parker and Heath MacBride will find a way to make love work for them a second time around. And I’m dying to find out the family secret!

I am looking forward to your selection!
Happy Reading!!
If you participated in last month’s challenge, check out the discussion post HERE and let us know if you met your challenge!
I have been traveling through reading as well!
Safest way to travel until the pandemic is over!
Good category this month!!!
I am ‘heading’ for Egypt – Til Death Do Us Part by Dieter Moitzi. A nod to Agatha Christie aparently so right up my street!!
Enjoy your “trip’! I just read the summary and it looks like a good book. Looking forward to hearing your opinion.
None of the books I read this year set in my country so it’s safe to say I still travel despite the bloody pandemic. I’m so desperate for a real getaway and me time (as in pleasure) though, I’m sure I’m not alone in this.
Same here, Didi. I am ready to go somewhere, anywhere, that is not my home town LOL
