September’s Reading Challenge was to read a novel that takes place in your favorite or upcoming season.
I selected Wild Love by Lauren Accardo because I love the autumn leaves on the trees on the cover. Although fall has arrived in New Mexico (booo! I thought I was going to have wear jeans today! But a pair of capris saved the day) we should still have several warm days ahead.
Unfortunately, the extra day I had reserved to read Wild Love went to getting a fractured tooth fixed. The work is almost finished but between spending an afternoon trying to find a dentist who took our insurance and could fit me in and driving 3 hours round trip two separate days for the work, I didn’t have time (or inclination) to read. I’m saving up all of my unread challenge books to read in December!

I read Summer Drifter by RJ Scott, won from yourself!!
I do enjoy her cowboy stories – never been to Wyoming, so can’t comment as to fits to true, nor know any cowboys but did enjoy the sense of it all.
Quinn is an intriguing character – all out there flamboyance but with a core of steel and deep hurts.
Levi is the brooding hero – we only get his life battles later on in the story.
Add in a dramatic rescue, some cute kids and a homecoming of the heart, all good warm and fuzzy stuff.
