Jordan’s children are all four-legged and furry. They love to be oh-so-helpful with her writing. She can usually be found hiding from the sun with her service dog and her puppy-in-training. (She tried the training thing with cats first, since cats are so much smarter, but it was a no-go.)
Before she was published, Jordan worked as a tech writer in the semiconductor industry. She’s also created labs and learning materials for auto, diesel , and motorcycle mechanics. The technology was the easy part; the hard part was trying not to slip in pop-culture snark.
Jordan lives in the desert outside Phoenix, Arizona, despite the fact she turns into gray goo and blue hair dye when exposed to heat. For fun, she hunts scorpions in the backyard, with a blowtorch, and a crowbar. She’s chronically unavailable for at least a month after new game releases from Blizzard. She’s an unapologetic fangirl and has been known to write an occasional fanfic to prove Bucky Barnes is not a villain. Oh, and she crochets the cutest amigurumi ever.

Cats are so much smarter! Loooove it 🙂 Presently, I am a crazy cat lady, but, I grew up with at least 3 dogs in the house at a time! I had to look up what amigurumi was and you must be very patient to crochet so delicate and small! Your book sounds like it comes from the heart and I can’t wait to read it. I love cats! I’ve currently got three, ranging from my tiny six-pounder to my ancient eighteen-year-old grumpycat. They often help with my crocheting.
By certain definitions of “help,” anyway.
Yes, kitties can be a great “help” with all sorts of projects and hobbies! We had a grumpycat for 13 years when he passed away at 15 a couple of years ago. Then soon after, we saved a feisty rescue. In July we also adopted 4 littermates, who are now almost 7 months old. Then at work, we feed 4 ferals (one is the mama of the littermates) that are regulars and 2 others that are scavengers. The 4 regulars have all been T-N-R’ed 🙂 We also have seen 2 skunks off and on at work that are the ultimate left over scavengers at night! Luckily we have never smelled them, just viewed them through the door! Whew! Bunches of Kitty Cats! Lol! Thanks for sharing more!
