October Reading Challenge: Read a Book with an Urban Setting

This month’s reading challenge is… read a book with an urban setting. I tend to gravitate to rural or small town settings so I wanted to stretch my reading wings just a bit and deliberately select a book with an urban vibe.

My first selection was actually easy to make. I enjoyed Susie Steiner’s DS Manon series so much I decided to read book two, Persons Unknown. Manon’s character underwent a great deal of growth by the conclusion of Missing, Presumed and I am very eager to join her as she navigates the next stage in her life.

Now for my second selection, I had to dig a little deeper into my TBR. I am a big fan of S.E. Harmon’s novels so I finally decided to read The Blueprint. I really enjoy sports novels so I cannot wait to dive into Britton “Blue” Montgomery and Kelly Cannon’s story. I am hoping to find the time to read the next book in the Rules of Possession which is releasing later this month.
