November’s Reading Challenge is designed to help you escape the stress of the upcoming holidays by reading a book set in your favorite or dream vacation destination.
It will probably come as no surprise that I am choosing novels set in Australia. My husband and I enjoyed our trip earlier this year so much, we are going back again next year!
My first selection is The Husband’s Secret by Liane Moriarty. This novel is set in Sydney and follows Cecilia Fitzpatrick’s accidental discovery of her husband’s shocking secret. I am very intrigued by the summary and I am eager to read this popular novel.

The next novel I plan to read is Tallowwood by N.R. Walker. This mystery stars Sydney Detective August Shaw who is investigating a series of cold case murders. His investigation takes him to small town of Tallowwood where he and Senior Constable Jacob Porter work together to track down the killer.

I hope this month’s challenge helps you beat the upcoming holiday stress as you dive into a book that is set in your favorite or dream vacation destination.

Happy Reading!!
If you participated in last month’s challenge, check out the discussion post HERE and let us know if you met your challenge!
I was going to try and read Tallowood in October, didn’t happen!
So Tallowwood in November for me too!
Australia always on my go to list, probably never get!!!
I hope you do get to go-it’s such a beautiful, diverse country.
I’m a little leary about reading Tallowwood. I loved the Red Dirt series but struggled with The Hate You Drink. Fingers crossed I enjoy it! I’m also looking forward to comparing notes about what we each like or didn’t like about the books.
