July’s Reading Challenge is to read a novel which centers around water.
We have been having a lot of rain lately so water has been on my mind.
I took this picture of one of our roses on Tuesday.
And this is what our front yard looked like on Wednesday.
After I ran across my copy of Jane Harper’s The Survivors, I decided this month’s challenge should have something to do with water. In the case of The Survivors, the US cover is a beach scene and the UK version is pictured below. The setting is a coastal town. And a dead body is found on the beach.
Since I am huge fan of Jane Harper I will move heaven and earth to complete this month’s challenge!!!

I purchased my copy at Book Depository.
I am looking forward to your selection!
Happy Reading!!
If you participated in last month’s challenge, check out the discussion post HERE and let us know if you met your challenge!
I am going with We Cry the Sea by Glenn Quigley, following on from Moth and Moon and The Lion Lies Waiting, both of which I enjoyed.
A historical, AU, steampunk-y sort of setting which I wasn’t sure about, but have enjoyed when I got into the books
Gorgeous cover! The summary looks very interesting. Hope you enjoy it!
