July’s Reading Challenge was to read a novel which centers around water.
I was really hoping I would have the opportunity to read Jane Harper’s The Survivors last month, But if you read yesterday’s announcement, you will not be surprised that I did not have time to read it. I am extremely behind on my reviews and last month I had a couple of out of town doctor appointments. On those days, I lose most of the day driving to and from the appointments.
I am very disappointed I did not have the chance to read The Survivors last month. However, I am hopeful I’ll be fully caught up with reviews within the next couple of months. Then I plan to tackle the challenge books I have not read.

I purchased my copy at Book Depository.

I read We Cry the Sea by Glenn Quigley, 3rd in a quirky series.
Set in 1700s, in an AU Scilly Islands, with same sex marriage the norm, older MCs and clockwork steampunk machinery.
Even had a floating pirate island.
I enjoyed the series but prob not for all
