Summary:

College student Coby is being stalked by a young guy and has no idea why…until someone suggests that the stalker may have a crush on him. The idea both excites and terrifies Coby, who is so deep in the closet he can barely manage to think the word “gay” without freaking out.

The Review:

Easily my favorite installment in Erica Pike’s College Fun and Gays series, Little Stalker is a wonderful tale of self-discovery. When Coby finally meets his stalker, he is forced to come to terms with his own sexuality.

In the beginning of Little Stalker, it is difficult to like Coby. He is using women to prove something to himself and he has a pretty serious alcohol problem. He vehemently rejects his friend Ray’s suggestion that Coby is gay, but his reaction to his stalker makes it impossible to keep denying the possibility that Ray is right. Coby has a serious wake-up call that forces him to face his demons head on and make amends to the people he has treated so badly.

With less sex and more emphasis on Coby’s issues, Little Stalker is a more serious addition to the College Fun and Gays series. The plot is well-developed and realistic and Erica Pike does a wonderful job redeeming Coby into a likeable and sympathetic character. Definitely a book that will end up on my keeper shelf and I am looking forward to the final book in the series.
