Summary:
When Larke met Droje his whole world changed. Now he’s left behind everything he’s ever known to join Droje’s band of freedom fighters. Life on the run is full of perils but Larke doesn’t care so long as he’s by Droje’s side. Every day he’s discovering more — about who he is, who he can become, and the unprecedented feelings he has for Droje. But when an enemy from within nearly costs Larke his life, Droje’s efforts to protect him could end their relationship and rob Larke of his chance to help the rebellion as only he can. In this third volume of the Freedom series, Larke learns that before he can free others, he must first free himself.

Excerpt
Droje drifted toward him, smooth and stately as the Imperial Yacht on Incorporation Day. His smile widened and his eyes opened to slits.
Larke slid one arm behind Droje and reached up to grip his far shoulder. They rolled gently with the movement, like twin stars rotating through space.
“Hey. Nice move.” Droje sounded genuinely impressed.
Larke pushed his shoulders back and drew a deep breath. That’s right. He could do this. He leaned in and kissed Droje hard, pushing his tongue in deep enough to graze the man’s molars.
Droje started and gave a sharp grunt, then tightened his grip and kissed Larke back just as forcefully. The rich flavor of coffee and the salty tang of soy rations burst across Larke’s taste buds.
Growling, Larke pressed in harder. They battled back and forth, slick tongues tangling over and over. Droje twisted in Larke’s hold.
A cold fist clenched in Larke’s stomach. Droje was probably testing him. He had to maintain control. He clamped his other arm around Droje and held on tight. All he really wanted to do was surrender but Droje had been impressed with him for taking the lead. He’d lose Droje’s respect if he gave in now. He opened wider, sucking Droje’s tongue into his mouth.
“Mm!” Droje struggled and they did a slow spin, head over heels.
They bumped into the ceiling and bounced off. Only it wasn’t the ceiling, it was the floor. Larke tried to wrap his legs around Droje. Instead he kicked the floor. They plummeted toward the ceiling face first. “Oh shit!”
