Do you enjoy romances starring Navy SEALs and the women they love? Then you should pick up a copy of Callie Croix’s latest release, Covert Seduction. It is a melt your eReader sizzling hot read that is also sweetly romantic.

Following a difficult rescue mission in Afghanistan, Reid Galvin withdraws from his non-military friends and family, cutting off all communication with his loved ones, including his girlfriend of several months, Becca Anderson. When he returns stateside, Reid plans to meet with Becca face to face to explain why he pulled away from her but much to his surprise, Becca is not patiently waiting for his homecoming. Becca has misconstrued his silence as his way of breaking things off with her and she has decided to begin dating other men.

Becca and Reid are terrific protagonists. Reid is an intense alpha male and extremely protective of the woman he cares about. Becca is a little insecure, but she is also strong and independent. Lack of communication and trust issues threaten to derail their relationship but their strong attraction to one another proves irresistible.

The sex scenes between Becca and Reid are highly detailed and quite erotic. Each encounter is quite lengthy and spans several pages. A very nice combination of sweet yet slightly kinky sex.

Ms. Croix packs a whole lot of action in Covert Seduction. The secondary story arc revolves around Becca’s job as a computer programmer for an investment firm. Becca unwittingly uncovers information that someone is willing to go to any lengths to keep hidden. Lucky for her, Reid is in the right place at the right time and comes to her rescue.

Overall, Covert Seduction is a fast-paced and entertaining romance with delightfully engaging protagonists. If you enjoy books that have a little bit of a mystery along with a whole lot of steamy lovin’, then you will love this quick read.

The Review:

Callie Croix’s Let Me In is a complex but highly sensual romance. Talia Barnett is surprised to discover her friends Angie and Liam waiting at the airport when she comes home on leave from her tour in Afghanistan. With a complicated relationship with her mother and a fear of losing the Brodie family, Talia refuses to act on her attraction to the gorgeous and oh so sexy Liam.

There is a surprising amount of depth and substance to Let Me In. Ms. Croix delicately broaches a sensitive subject and handles it with ease. Talia’s reactions to her mother’s situation are realistic and her emotions are complicated and believable. Her reasons for keeping her family secret are understandable. Her fears of losing the Brody family’s friendship, while unfounded, are quite reasonable considering her relationship with her mother.

The sex scenes between Talia and Liam are quite steamy and erotic. Talia is strong and firmly in control out of bed, but she does have submissive desires in the bedroom. Liam is definitely an Alpha male, and he is the dominate sexual partner. While there are some BDSM elements to Let Me In, it is not by any means a hardcore BDSM novella.

Let Me In is a wonderfully entertaining and sexy romance. The sexual chemistry between Liam and Talia is absolutely sizzling. Callie Croix beautifully wraps up this fast-paced and engaging novella with a charming epilogue that is sure to delight readers.

Fans of No Holds Barred are sure to enjoy Liam’s story. Although Let Me In can be read as a standalone, readers won’t want to miss this fascinating and intriguing introduction to Liam Brodie.

The Review:

Callie Croix’s novella Touch Me is a quick and extremely steamy read. When Alex Montoya returns home for two weeks of leave, his friendship with Tia McIntyre takes an erotic turn when their mutual attraction burns out of control.

Tia McIntyre and Alex Montoya are extremely well-developed characters. Tia is still fighting the emotional wounds and damage to her self-esteem inflicted by her soon-to-be ex-husband when Alex returns home. Tia undergoes a great deal of growth as she struggles to overcome her self-image issues and accept her submissive desires.

Alex is definitely an Alpha male, but there is a gentleness to him that is very appealing. His concern for Tia is touching, and even though he is a Dom, he is never domineering. He does not overpower her; instead he patiently coaxes her into accepting her submissive nature.

There is a great deal of substance and emotional depth to Touch Me. Alex and Tia’s longstanding friendship provides a strong foundation for their newfound romance. Their sex scenes are explosive and quite explicit but filled with emotion. The BDSM aspect of the novella is light and understated.

Touch Me by Callie Croix is a short but incredibly hot and emotionally satisfying read. If you are looking for a story with fabulous characters, a touching romance and deliciously carnal sex, then you will love this delightful novella.

No Holds Barred by Callie Croix is an erotic fantasy brought to life when Nathan offers his fiancée the opportunity to indulge in a ménage a trios with their close friend Liam. While Nathan’s proposal raises a few questions about their sex life, it also raises Cait’s temperature to scorching as she considers his sexy proposition.

Although the possibility of a threesome intrigues Cait, she takes the time to think over the implications acting on her desires could have on their relationship. While she completely trusts Nathan, she does question whether their sex life is as satisfactory as she believes. Her attraction to Liam is intense, but she still holds back.

Nathan is an alpha male and he has complete control in the bedroom. While he patiently waits while Cait wrestles with her decision, he does ultimately step in and force her to face her desires. He is always tender and loving with Cait and her pleasure is always uppermost in his mind.

No Holds Barred is a deliciously steamy read. Cait is sweet yet sexy and I liked that she didn’t enter into the ménage lightly. Nathan is a dominant man and his thoughtful consideration of Cait and her sexual satisfaction is HOT. I am intrigued by Liam, and I hope that Callie Croix plans to give us his story next.
